Alejandro Alí Pérez Fernández I Dancer

Alejandro graduated from the National School of Arts as a dancer, majoring in folklore and contemporary dance, he has worked with some renowned dance companies of the country like Conjunto Folclórico Nacional, Rakatán and Danzares. With Danzares, he toured to Italy, Danzón Festival, 2009; Latin-American Salsa Festival 2009, 2010; and Switzerland in 2010 as part of the Company´s winter tour that visited Italy as well.




Lianett Rodriguez Gonzalez I Dancer

Lianett is a modern, contemporary and folklore dancer and dance professor graduate from ENA (National School of Arts) with the first degree of the 2005 class. Lianett has toured to Italy for a folk dance exchange and to the Netherlands for a contemporary dance exchange. Lianett has taught the Cubadanza Summer Course in Havana and worked with internationally renowned choreographers such as Ana Laguna, Max Ek, Kathy Marston, Rafael Bonachela, Jan Linkens. Lianett toured the Company to the inauguration of La Fenice Theatre in Venice; Sziget Festival in Hungary in 2008; as lead soloist for The Kings of Salsa 2009/10 in Germany, Thailand, Copenhagen, Portugal, Finland and Russia; and was featured dance soloist in Cuban TV Awards 2010.



Idania La Villa I Dancer

Born in Havana city in 1973, she graduated from the National School of Ballet in Havana. In 1991 she joined Ballet the Camagüey Company and 4 years later, in 1995 started working at Prodanza, Laura Alonso’s company. In 1999, Idania joined Ballet Nacional de Cuba as Principal Soloist touring several countries with the company. Her repertoire includes classic roles like Kitri, Diana, Clarita, Zwanilda, Lise, Pájaro azul, and Ballets such as: Swan Lake, Second Act; Grand pas de Paquita, VII Beethoven´s Symphony, Nisi dominus, Degas, Tarde en la Siesta, Aguas Primaverales, Il Ballo de la Regina, Rara Avis, Muñecos, La Casa de Bernarda Alba, Tablada, A través de tus ojos. She was awarded the Silver Medal at UNEAC’s 1990 contest; Gold Medal on the First Alicia Alonso International Contest, 1996. Idania has danced in several Havana International Ballet Festivals, and attended other international contest such as the 8th International Dance Contest, Paris, France.



Jenny Sosa Martínez I Dancer

Jenny graduated Cum Laude from the National School of Ballet in 2005. While studying she attended several international ballet competitions. In 2005 she joined the Ballet de Camagüey company and in 2006 joined Ballet Laura Alonso where she was promoted to lead dancer and performed in The Sylphides, Coppelia, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Drácula, among other full ballets. She has also performed modern and neoclassical pieces such as Chicago, Big Spender, Bandoneón, Muñecos and Majísimo. In 2001 Jenny was ranked third in the Joenville Festival, Brazil, performing the Pas de Deux Don Quixote and is currently the lead soloist prima ballerina in Laura Alonso Company, Havana.



Dannys González Medina I Dancer

Graduated from the Nacional School of Art on 2007 as a dancer-professor, Dannys joined Ballet Laura Alonso that same year. In his fifth year of studies, he received an award on an International Ballet Academy Contest, Havana Cuba. He has performed lead roles in classic and contemporary repertoires including; The Nutcracker, La fille mal gardeé, Chevaliere de Sant George, Renfield, Majísimo, Pas de Deux Tarantela, Pas de Trois Swan Lake and Solo Contemporáneo, Muñecos among others. Dannys has also been to the International Ballet Festival in Havana, the 2007 Cuballet and in several Nacional tours with Ballet Laura Alonso. He has worked in Summer Courses Cubadanza 2007 and Folklore de Cuba 2001. He performs as regisseur and professor for first year students in his company.



Dayron Pablo Pérez Falero I Dancer

After graduating from the National school of Arts as a modern and folklore dancer, he joined the Danza del Alma company performing in some the most important theaters of the country, Lorcca, Mella, La Caridad. After four years he joined Espectáculos Musicales, a show company providing services to the tourism, more specifically, Santa María Key.



Danilo Machado Meneses I Dancer

Danilo graduated from the National School of Art (Dance), joined Danza Contemporánea de Cuba and took several workshops and tours in and outside Cuba. He then joined Danza del Alma, working with that company for three years and then moved to Espectáculos Musicales, a show company providing services to the tourism industry and more specifically, Santa María Key.





Juan Carlos Fernández Osma I Dancer

Juan started taking ballet classes at the age of 9. Graduating from the National School of Ballet, he has participated in four Havana International Ballet Festivals as corps de ballet in Paquita, The Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote, the latter in one of the main roles. He has danced in all theaters in Havana and has taken classes with Carlos Acosta, Alberto Terrero, Javier Torres, Svetlana Ballester, Lien Chang, José Martín and Laura Alonso. Has also done some training in contemporary dance with the companies Habana Rakatán and Danza Contemporánea de Cuba. Later in his career he danced three full ballets, Paquita, The Nutcracker and Dracula with the Ballet Laura Alonso Company.He has also had a role as dancer an Italian-Cuban coproduction titled Una Danza para mi Habana and part of the dancer cast of the Cuban musical feature currently being shot by ICAIC.



Odeymis Torres Pérez I Dancer

Odeymis graduated from the National School of Art as a Cum Laude dancer professor of Modern and Folklore dance. She Joined the prestigious Danza Contemporánea de Cuba company and made it to lead dancer participating in several festivals and events such as: Opera Aida Pala Fenice, Italy (1998); La Huella de España Festival, Cuba and IX internacional Havana Theater Festival, Cuba (1999); International Dance Festival NRW; Millenium Move, Germany (2000); Centro de Bellas Artes Festival, Puerto Rico, (2000); Danza en el Caribe Biennale Centro Cultural Atrium, Martinique, (2001); Holland Dance Festival, Lucent Theater, Holland (2001); Itálica Festival, El Alcázar, Spain (2003); Sintra Festival, Portugal (2003); Tocororo Fábula Cubana by Carlos Acosta, London and Birmingham, UK, (2004); La Bienal de Venecia, Malibran Theater, Italia, Graz, Austria and Hong Kong (2005); Theater Festival Casa de la Cultura Maspalomas, Spain (2007); tour on Canary Islands, 2008. Odeymis has also won several choreography contests including the Danceforever in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She was given a scholarship to study Lirio Jazz in Madrid with the renowned choreographer Fernando Lázaro from Carmen Roche’s company.



Yasser Pajares Rojas I Dancer

Yasser Graduated from the Cuban National School of Ballet in 2000, then joined the Ballet Nacional de Cuba performing as a soloist in Don Quixote, Swan Lake and Carmen, which toured to the US, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, Italy and China. He also performed in the International Ballet festival of Havana in 2000, 2002 and 2004 before joining the Ballet de la Televsion Cuban as a soloist in 2006 and has since toured extensively in many productions.
